You might have noticed that we’ve recently become an official supplier of Silent Night beds. They are a fantastic addition to our website and offer our customers something different. Silent Night beds have their own unique features including the Miracoil spring system – Silent Night’s leading spring technology that was developed in the late 1990s. We thought it would be useful to explain this unique spring system and its varieties to our customers.

Silent Night understand that people come in different shapes and sizes, and the unique intelligent spring system provides ideal support for everyone. The Miracoil spring system is unlike standard springs that are usually circular, it has its own shape and provides:

• Zoned support
• Pressure relief
• More sleep space
• Individual sleep zones

Your spine is placed under pressure all day long and Silent Night’s Miracoil spring system reacts to this by using three sleep zones to help the body relax into the ideal position for perfect spinal alignment and a stress free sleeping position. They are strongest around the hips where half your body weight is, and are gentle and supportive around the areas that need more cushioning like the shoulders.

Miracoil 3 - Silent Night’s most popular range, Miracoil 3 gives comfort and support for all shapes and sizes. The zoned support targets the back with pressure relief for a peaceful night’s sleep, while the extra sleep space and individual sleep zones ensure an undisturbed sleep. It is ideal if you don’t have any particular sleep problems and prefer a medium to firm feeling.

Miracoil 3 Pocket 2100 – Combining the popular Miracoil 3 with its versatile support and comfort, lower back pressure relief and extra sleep space, the Miracoil 3 Pocket 2100 features mini pocket springs for luxurious comfort and support. The mini springs are held under tension in fabric pockets that are naturally vented and give you a gentle bounce back for healthy movement. They are a great choice if you prefer a firmer bounce but still want the comfort, as well as for heavier people or those who get too hot during the night.

Miracoil 7 -Part of the advanced sleep range, Miracoil 7 has the benefits of Miracoil 3 but has been enhanced with an extra sensitive support layer for more targeted comfort with cushioning around the shoulders and neck area, and suport for the hips. It is ideal if you prefer extra cushioning when you sleep on your side and want a more luxurious feeling. All these beds are finished with a layer of Silent Night’s Cirrus Airflow that prevents overheating while sleeping.

Miracoil 7 Pocket 2100 - Combining the Miracoil 7 from the advanced sleep range, it has an extra sensitive support layer that provides targetted support for the hips and cushioning for the shoulders and neck. Featuring mini pocket springs, the Miracoil 7 Pocket 2100 has a comfortable feeling with the mini springs held under tension in fabric pockets and are a third of the size of normal springs to give a gentle bounce back effect for healthy movement. These beds are ideal if you like a firmer bed, as well as if you are heavier or get too hot during the night. They are all finished with Silent Night’s Cirrus Airflow to prevent overheating during the night.
